Currently MD of David Rubens Associates, David has been involved in the UK security sector since 1991. He is a Chartered Security Professional, and is a Fellow of the UK Security Institute, where he also sits on the Main Board, holding portfolio responsibility for International Development. He is highly experienced in developing and managing international security development projects across the world, and is widely recognised as a leading authority on all aspects of security and risk management, from front-line training and the development of national training programmes to the highest level of corporate and government risk management. He is a member of the London Resilience Academic Partnership , and has been a key-note speaker at conferences in London, New York, Tokyo, Moscow, Singapore, Caribbean, Gothenburg and Warsaw. He is a UKTI Subject Matter Expert on both Major Event Security Management as well as Corporate & Executive Security, and was Chairman of the Protecting Critical National Infrastructure conference at the recent Counter Terror Expo in London. He is currently preparing his thesis for his Professional Doctorate at University of Portsmouth.
